I guess perhaps I was a bit disillusioned thinking that I was "small." Maybe people were lying to me? Recently I've had two people (perfect strangers) assume I was expecting. How presumptuous, I thought - Do I even look that pregnant? The answer, by the way, is an undeniable, YES! So far it has been better to look pregnant than just looking chubby and out of shape - though there is definitely some of that going on, too.
It was a big weekend for us here. We spent most of Saturday registering for stuff, stuff and more stuff. We were all smiles at the beginning. To get our feet wet, we started at Target, where the selection and items are fewer.
Jamie learned that this was not the proper way to handle a car seat.
Our first big mistake of the day, was to leave the house at 11:30 am, dangerously close to the lunch hour. As much as I like to shop - I am a pregnant lady who needs to eat! It wasn't long before I felt overwhelmed with hunger and had to stop for a snack.

We soldiered on and managed to knock out both Target and Babies R Us. Well, for the most part. The end-cap-stop-and-snack only took me about three-quarters through Babies R Us before we had to leave for lunch, which was actually closer to the dinner hour. We may have been a bit trigger happy with the scanner, and we left feeling a little too much like we were asking for people to buy us all this stuff. So we've been doing some tweaking via the Internet - more editing is needed.
