Labor day travels

Nora enjoying some US Open tennis

We are quickly approaching the 11 week mark -- and I am wondering when we cross over and just say that "3 months". It's all very tricky. After all, she's only 10 weeks for a couple of days and then you have to start saying "ten and a half... almost eleven". Whatever the number, she is well.

I almost hate to say it, but she's been sleeping through the night. For more than 2 weeks now she's been pretty consistent. Each night, I feed her, give her a bath and then give her another quick feed -- I put her to bed around 9. Then she's good until about 6 am! Even with all our travels, she's been able to keep up at least 8 or so hours of sleep. Now, if only I could sleep through the night!

This past week we traveled back to DC to hang with the Morse/MacDonald family. Nora and Patrick were able to check each other out a little more, though I think they are still not sure what to do with each other.

The weather was amazing! We were able to get out of the AC and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine without melting in to a puddle. We ate a LOT of good food, had some delicious frozen treats from Dairy Godmother and did enough walking to wear off about 1/8th of the calories consumed. Saturday we took a cruise on the Potomac River to see some sites and enjoy the weather. On Sunday, Nora visited her first winery and attended her first doggie birthday party. We got back to MN late Monday night and now we are back to the regular, boring old grind.

Yesterday, Nora attended her first "business meeting". I was at my watercolor class and Nora was hanging out with Grammy at work. I guess this is acceptable to bring your grand kids to meetings, if their cute enough. Nora is pretty cute and quiet, so it works out ok. She's not able to take notes just yet, but we'll work on it.
Today is Wednesday, Yoga day. Nora is sleeping peacefully in her swing right now, but soon it will be time to eat and don our yoga duds. I guess I better get to it!
Love,
